  25. You should look into the Matrox millenium its an excellent all around card
  26. has a decent price and is one of the few cards with 3D acceleration 3D
  27. gourad shading, texture mapping, double buffering and z-buffering.
  28. Performance 190,000 Gouraud shaded polygons per second. Supports OpenGL,
  29. Reality Lab, Intel 3DR and RenderWare. What does this all mean now.
  30. Absolutely nothing, but if Newtek sees the light we could be manipulating 3D
  31. shaded models instead of wireframes or at the very least get a shaded
  32. preview in modeler (check out Caligari Truespace only program I know
  33. currently supporting 3D acceleration its no match for Lightwave animation
  34. capabilities though).

  36. So if you want to get ahead of the software technology curve go with the
  37. millenium and hopefully Newtek will catch up. Maybe some Newtek insiders
  38. reading this might have some input on whether Newtek plans on supporting 3D
  39. acceleration if your listening you should get with the program. Or better
  40. yet hurry up and finalize 4.0 and send me my update I can't stand not having
  41. things like macros, everyone else takes for granted.
